Saturday Writers 2012 Writing Contests
In 2012, Saturday Writers is offering numerous contests to get everyone inspired and writing. Each contest has its own theme or topic with appropriate timeframes and guidelines.
Winners will receive a monetary prize or honorable mention certificate, and we are proud to announce that our winners from each contest will also be published in the official 2012 Saturday Writers Anthology. *Third place or later placement in Anthology will be determined by number of entries received.
Our contests are open to anyone. We encourage all of our member-winners this year to read aloud to the group their winning piece, if they so choose.
Below is a detailed list of our contests for 2012. Always read the Official Rules linked with each contest before entering.
